Single ladies need more SUV's!: Single women are buying more SUV's, fueling a surge in demand that has 2016 on pace to top last year’s record 17.5 million light-vehicle sales in the U.S. Starting with 2010 to 2015, small SUV sales to women rose 34% compared with a 22% rise for men.. At the same time, premium small SUV's though smaller in raw numbers, saw 177% growth in sales to women. More than 40% among these female vehicle buyers aren't married.
As a dealer or a carmaker you need to pay a lot of attention at professional females, who are single but need vehicles. They have their jobs, they make money, and will decide on their own, these women can be very loyal consumers once their needs and wishes get satisfied. Considering the growing economy, the increasing income and education, you can see a huge number of women buying cars nowadays. In 2015 more than two-thirds of female buyers reported that SUV's are exactly what they need, what they feel comfortable with.
